The Republic of Namibia has elected Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah as its first female chief executive.

Affectionately known as “NNN,” Nandi-Ndaitwah will become the fourth female head of state on the African continent, following the Republics of Liberia, Malawi and Tanzania.

In a few months, President-elect Nandi-Ndaitwah will take the oath of office in the capital city of Windhoek on March 21.
