The Smithsonian’s Anacostia Community Museum is hosting an exhibition showcasing the work of African American artist-educators in Washington, D.C., from 1900-2000, featuring artworks, artifacts, and video footage, as well as the stories of the teachers, students, and activists who made Washington a center for Black arts education.
