Internship Program Overview

The Washington Informer Internship Program offers students and early-career professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a legacy, community-centered news organization. Interns gain practical exposure to journalism, media production, technology, business operations, and audience engagement while contributing to work that serves the Washington, DC region and beyond.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and placements are made as opportunities become available. This program is designed to support professional development, skill-building, and real-world experience in a working newsroom and media organization.
