Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Prince Andrew and the younger brother of King Charles III, was arrested by British police in connection with newly disclosed Epstein materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police confirmed they detained \u201ca man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office and are carrying out searches at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk,\u201d the BBC and the New York Times reported. Investigators are examining whether confidential government information from Andrew\u2019s tenure as a British trade envoy was shared with Epstein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While American justice has moved seemingly at a snail\u2019s pace, international prosecutors are moving rather swiftly following the most recent release by the U.S. Department of Justice of millions of documents from the Epstein files. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Paris, authorities have opened two investigations connected to Epstein, one examining potential sex crimes and another focused on financial misconduct. French officials have urged victims to come forward and said they will rely on U.S. Justice Department files and new complaints in determining whether prosecutions proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
