Thank you for choosing LIFE! Similarly, to Dr. Holden and other warriors who wake up to face a new day, while defying this disease, you are not walking alone. We are walking and praying with you. I too am excited to see where this documentary goes as it teaches us about the impact of sickle cell; let’s see what distribution doors will open. Caring people in our communities also need this education, and that’s what this film and this reporting does; they educate. Thank you!

Comment on Faith Leaders Emphasize Power of Love Beyond Valentine’s Day by Daniel https://www.washingtoninformer.com/love-foundation-life-faith/#comment-227620 Tue, 03 Mar 2026 20:21:12 +0000 https://www.washingtoninformer.com/?p=1244575#comment-227620 I just want to say how deeply your article “Faith Leaders Emphasize Power of Love Beyond Valentine’s Day” moved me — it’s a beautiful and timely reminder that love rooted in faith is far more than sentiment or seasonal celebration, it’s a daily, transformative practice that heals division, fosters unity, and invites us into deeper compassion for ourselves and others; your voices of wisdom show that when love is lived out courageously in community and in everyday interactions, it becomes a force that challenges injustice, nurtures resilience, and opens our hearts to a more generous, hope‑filled way of being in the world, inspiring all of us to choose love not just as an idea but as a lived expression of faith in action.

Seconding that he is a liar with a violent temper and adding that he is a thief and abuses women. He also never graduated from Howard, he was kicked out. He is an embarrassment to his family and most of them no longer speak to him. If you look at his social media all he does is spew hatred about women. He is a dreamer that never amounted to anything. His behavior may be a result of an untreated mental illness (delusions of grandeur is a common symptom), but he should be held accountable for his evil deeds. Don’t take it from me, anyone who went to Howard with him can speak to his lack of character.

I am a big fan of Lewis George’s proposals for affordable housing and affordable childcare, so I’m hoping she wins and can help accomplish what the long-time residents of U St need.

I mostly appreciate how the writer described Mr. Snows potential to see beyond his pain, crisis and ultimately gaining moments that belongs to him and not the sickle cell disease even while on the hospital bed. Interesting story.
